Scope and Contents
The Central Piedmont History Room Collection has been organized following the original order implemented by both Raymond Mason and Carol Timblin. This collection has been arranged into five series: I) Administrative Files; II) Historical Files; III) Scrapbooks; IV) R.V. Mason Audio Files; V) Carol Timblin Research Files. From the Series: 1 Cubic Feet (2 boxes: "History Binders") : Contents of 2 office binders rehoused into archival folders and boxes.
From the Series: 35 items (35 Scrapbooks) : Bound scrapbooks detailing the history of CPCC. Mostly included on the pages are news clippings and publications. Other items include paper and photographs. ; 8.5 x 11 paper
From the Series: 19 Cassettes (19 cassette tapes) : 19 cassette tapes containing oral history interviews of College faculty and staff, detailing the early history of CPCC.

Processing Information
Folders 15 through 25 were contained within Binder 4: "The Course - Mike Myers Special". As part of the Rural Renaissance Project, this binder contains educational materials from courses given by CPCC through the weekly newspaper. Due to the physical condition of the binders, it was agreed that the materials should be rehoused into archival folders and boxes, reflecting the order in which they were organized in the binder.
