Central Piedmont Presidential Papers Collection
Scope and Contents
The CPCC Presidents Papers Collection originated as bulk collection of files contained within numerous bankers’ boxes. The files contain news articles, correspondence, photographs, and illustrations related to various CP-oriented topics; with most boxes being organized topically.
The contents of the boxes for the Dr. Richard Hagemeyer series (Series I) were processed and transferred into archival boxes and are arranged in the order in which Dr. Hagemeyer and his assistants organized this documentation, usually by subject.
The contents of the boxes for the Dr. Ruth Shaw series (Series II) were processed and transferred into archival boxes and are arranged in the order in which Dr. Shaw and her assistants utilized these records. Much of the original order from Dr. Hagemeyer carries over into the files for Dr. Shaw. These boxes are a bulk of files containing news clippings, correspondence, reports & marketing materials of subjects & events during her tenure.
The files for Dr. Zeiss and for Dr. Deitemeyer are mixed-format, which includes analog and digital versions of correspondence, reports, marketing materials, and other College-related documentation. These files have not yet been processed. The finding aid will be updated after Zeiss and Deitemeyer materials are able to be made available.
